CastleCourt Bloggers Evening

One of the greatest things about blogging is blogger events. You get to meet fellow bloggers and mesh minds

Bloggers

but you also tend to get shown some pretty funky stuff.

Clothes

One this occaision we were guests of CastleCourt Shopping centre and Debenhams in particular for a run down of the A/W collections. We had a lovely presentation of some of the new looks coming in this autum by the Debenhams personal stylists. Some gorgeous colours and pieces like this:

Which would look AMAZING with this bag and even a beehive if you can manage it.

(They’re all from Oasis by the way)

There’s also this jacket which I haven’t shopped swooning over from J by Jasper Conran

Tweed jacket

Think reds and berry tones this autum.

Things you didn’t know about the Debenhams personal shopper service – it’s free. Just make and appointment, tell them what you’re looking for and they will help you find it. Apparently they’re getting lots of men at the moment. I think personal shoppers are a godsend for men but we’ll talk about that another time.

Any way BIG NEWS from CastleCourt. They’re going to have a guest blogger on their website once a month blogging about a different activity. Silverbrogues will be going first as her name was pulled out of the hat. She’ll be talking about a matter very close to our, erm, chests.

Sadly I had to dash off so I missed the tour of the new collections in the store and (cry!) the Benefit makeovers but I did wangle a killer goodie bag.

And this pic doesn’t even include the Dolce & Gabanna towel and beach bag.

Check out the CastleCourt website. They’re starting to do some pretty good things over there – more will follow!
